Welcome
Welcome to Crockenhill Primary School!
Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome to Crockenhill Primary School’s website where we aim to give you an overview of life at our school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents, pupils and the wider community.
Our village school was built in 1906, and added to in 2011 to provide a welcoming, happy and safe environment in which our children thrive. We are a one form entry school, with the ability to accommodate 210 pupils from the village and further afield. As well as seven classrooms and hall, we also have a dedicated area for our ICT suite and a well-stocked library. There is also an art room which our pupils use regularly.
We aim to provide care before and after school, operating a breakfast club and an after school club called Caspers. Staff also run a range of clubs for the children to enjoy.
Sport is an important part of life at Crockenhill, and we have a large field across the lane from the main school site. We have a good football and netball team, and have just been awarded the silver schools sport award – something we are all very proud of.
We are all very pleased and excited to be working here at Crockenhill – where every day we experience the joy of learning something new. We want to unlock the potential in every child, and promote a ‘go for it’ attitude which will last a lifetime.
Please browse our website, or if you are looking for a place at primary school, call the office and make an appointment to come and see our beautiful school for yourself.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Karen Dodd
Headteacher
